Field Trip Program to visit Nearshore Wind Energy
in Soc Trang and Tra Vinh provinces

Overview

Two-days immersive field trip program is tailored for individuals interested in renewable energy, specifically the burgeoning sector of nearshore wind power in Vietnam. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with wind energy experts, explore operational wind power plants, and learn about the socio-economic and environmental impacts of these installations.

Objectives

– To deliver hands-on learning experiences at operational nearshore wind power plants.
– To understand the technical, environmental, and economic aspects of nearshore wind energy.
– To discuss the challenges, opportunities, and future of wind power in Vietnam.

Logistics and Safety

– Safe, reliable transport will be provided to all participants.
– Accommodations will be arranged with a focus on comfort and sustainability.
– Meals will feature local cuisine, catering to a variety of dietary requirements.
– Safety briefings and gear will be provided for all site visits.
– Experienced guides and coordinators will be available to ensure a smooth and informative experience.

Fee: 100 USD
